Daily Duties at American Equity Investment Life:
• Builds, leads and develops a team of professionals who provide sales support and consultation to promote Life and Annuity products and services for agents, KDP’s and internal and external sales teams. • Establishes departmental goals, objectives and direction • Partners with Internal sales, Account management, External sales and Insurance Ops to resolve escalated KDP/Agent issues. • Sets and communicates operational direction and expectations for the function. • Identifies and holds team accountable to meet SLAs and maintain/improve KDP/Agent satisfaction and adjusts resources and workflow accordingly. • Continuously review sales support processes, procedures and practices to ensure efficient and effective use of resources to enhance quality and service delivery to our KDPs • Assists in product and illustration training for field sales team and other home office personnel • Provides life and annuity illustration support for the KDPs and agents • Develops and leads a team of professionals by: o Hiring and retaining a qualified professional staff. o Establishing and managing performance expectations. o Mentoring and coaching Driving results. o Establishing and communicating direction. o Communicating effectively.
