Supervision to facility team members that assure skin integrity, wound and ostomy assessments are initiated and monitored for compliance Implementation of protocols for staff/patient education related to skin/wound/ostomy therapies Redesign of nurse and nurse assistant orientation to educate staff on current evidenced based practices for skin/wound/ostomy information Expansion of current skin/wound/ostomy educational tools to incorporate computer based learning modules for all staff members that include competency exercises in skin, wound and ostomy education
