Daily Duties at Btg Incorporated Tactical Systems Department:
Mr. Keune designed, coded, integrated, and tested all the data handling components in an embedded real-time data fusion technology demonstration project for the F-22. Mr. Keune implemented a multi-layer object oriented nested database in Ada including interfaces to VME based memory access for expedited access to complex data elements. He also assisted with system Integration and Testing and mitigating real time performance issues. In addition, to this project, Mr. Keune proposed an approach to aircrew interfacing approach using Ada, third party UNIX midware in a Motif based GUI system to develop contextually aware user interface for the presentation of correlated information to the aircrew. Diagnosed hardware performance problems in the project’s test bed, which enabled timely completion of the formal acceptance testing of this project. In addition, at the conclusion of the Ada development project, Mr. Keune developed mid-ware CGI code for an early IRS interactive tax preparation website.
