Daily Duties at Orbital Sciences Corp:
In 2011, Mr. Keune took over as principal developer and support POC for Payload Processor maintenance where he provided development (investigations, code, testing) to all database, Flight Software and simulation components while also maintaining Mission, Project and Systems documents. Mr. Keune completed the Overall Test Plan, CDR Presentation, and test procedures for several critical RF component tests on the CHIRP program. He was Lead Systems Engineer on DARPA phase I program RapidEye, a having been the Systems Engineering Lead for the proposal. Also, Mr. Keune served as the Systems Engineering Lead on a successful Rocket proposal, and on an effort to create GNC software to repair a FUSE spacecraft on-orbit emergency. Mr. Keune served as the Flight Software Verification Manager for the DAWN spacecraft where he led the Software Integration and Testing. Previously, Mr. Keune served as the Lead Software Systems Engineer on a Payload Control Processor project where he was responsible for developing, maintaining, and verifying requirements as well as other System and Software design activities. On other projects at Orbital, Mr. Keune has led requirement development, preliminary and critical design teams, managed Flight Software implementation, as well as validation efforts. Mr. Keune served as a key member of the N-Starc Flight Software team starting as the Flight Software proposal manager then as the Technical Lead through of spacecraft integration. Mr. Keune served as the Orbview-4 Flight Software Technical Lead from project inception through Critical Design Review.
