Daily Duties at Transamerica Financial Advisors:
I got licensed with S6, S63, S65( Investment Advisory), Life& Health. I was trained and learned the system, and started to train other new IAR's. I started with Transamerica Financial Advisors because I was a victim of the stock market and most financial advisors who are not allowed to protect their clients moneys during a crash. I specialized into placing money into Active Money management, where the money manager has the discretion to move the money around to maximize gains or minimize losses. I had been a victim of the system, and got licensed to manage what was left of my money, and to help others by being connected with a broker/dealer who could manage money down to $25K, actively and minimize losses in a market crash. After getting fully licensed and familiar with the top 3 money managers that were were commonly using ( because they were the only 3 good ones), I started training new hires. The training involved helping them get set-up for online test review, helping with field training and contacting customers, and explaining the various companies investment strategies.
What they like about Transamerica Financial Advisors:
Working in an organization that is technologically advanced, creative, and innovative is critical in your assessment of hiring companies. Less important to you are stability of the organization, the length of time an organization has been in business, and the business' plans for the future. You prefer a fast-moving company that will take risks to achieve its goals and objectives. The length of time the company has been in business is irrelevant. Maintaining status quo is unnecessary. You thrive on change, uncertainty and the upside of potential business risks, especially those associated with innovation. Stability for the long haul is not nearly as important as is working in an atmosphere that is charged with a sense of urgency and constant change.
