Daily Duties at Space Ltd:
Overall control and movement of materials into, though, and out of the plant. Ensures that company standard procedures are followed in connection with purchases of material and services. Purchasing of Resins for the entire operations through various vendors like Sabic Ashland. Clariant, and a vast knowledge of plastic parts in the injection molding business Supervises the negotiation of purchase contracts, follow-up, scheduling, and expediting of deliveries. A broad in-depth knowledge and application of production/inventory control systems, procurement procedures and techniques, shipping/receiving, and warehousing. Interfaces with Groups, outside of Operations, to understand product build requirements and inventory trends to assure on time delivery without creating excess inventory. Negotiates Supply Agreements, terms and conditions for procurement of material, Assures Terms and Conditions are favorable to the corporation. Reviews Customer backlog, Sales and Strategic forecasts and assures finished goods inventory and Work in Process are properly aligned to meet quarterly shipping and revenue goals.
