The Chief Strategy Architect’s primary accountability is to create and leverage a virtual team including The Chief Development Architect, Enterprise Architects, Solution Architects and SMT (Senior Management Team) to create a holistic, enterprise-wide information technology strategy which supports the enterprise’s business strategy. Successfully delivered a comprehensive, dynamic enterprise strategy which guided all decision-making regarding technology choices, services provided, vendor partnerships, open-source policy and offshoring policy. Allstate had a 2 billion dollar annual IT budget. The success of this role saved the enterprise tens of millions of dollars annually by creating a centralized service organization that reduced expenses, increased productivity, decreased time-to-market, decreased total-cost of ownership and improved quality.
