Promoted to VP/Project Director. Scopes or work included nuclear power division major project execution, including new nuclear plant deployment of the General Electric Economic Safe Boiling Water Reactor (ESBWR) and the Mitsubishi Heavy Industries US-Advanced Pressurized Water Reactor (US-APWR). Directed the development of Combined Operating License applications to the NRC for two new nuclear plants and selected input to applications for five other new units. Maintained full P&L responsibility for all projects and services within the nuclear power division of B&V. Participated in the development of strategic plans to advance the company's mission and objectives growth and profitability. Oversaw the work and activities of the B&V joint venture partners and subcontractors, including contract negotiation and management. Fostered a customer advocate performance culture within the nuclear organization. Served as one of the primary contact points with client executives regarding all B&V project matters. Participated in business development opportunities as the subject matter expert for numerous clients. Oversaw the daily performance of nuclear projects, ensuring high level execution in quality, safety, schedule and cost.
