Daily Duties at Coler & Goldwater Hospital:

Review, prepare and update monthly General Ledger transactions. Classify and summarize financial transactions in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles; Process Journal entries, monitors and maintain monthly and quarterly bank reconciliations for two facilities. General Ledger duties with monthly inter-departmental and inter-facility Charge-backs; Track monthly consignment cash receipts; Verify and approve purchase order thru OTPS system; Re-class and correct fallouts using right cost center and account. Variance analysis for the monthly cash expense, prepare monthly and quarterly affiliation; Prepare and post journal entries for Rima & NYU fee statement affiliation and prepare quarterly monitory report; Process transfer request and vendor refund. Analyze financial data and extract and define relevant information; Interpret data for the purpose of determining past financial performance and to project a financial probability. Enter and monitor all revenue and expense transactions in the General Ledger accounting software. Coordinate interaction and communication of accounting transactions among Finance, Central Office and other support Managers; forecasting; Assist controller to prepare budget. Responsible for month-end close, quarter end-close and year end close; Serve as a facility Petty Cash Custodian. Prepare Exhibits for Year End close and send necessary data from general ledger, for other departments to prepare Exhibits for Year End close. Train new employees. Responsible for Chase access administrator, create users, password and reset when needed, authorize employees to the accounts and train them how to use chase access. Prepare and analyze census report monthly and email to managers in every department in the hospital.
