Daily Duties at Cardinal Ritter Senior Services:

Oversaw all federal grant programs including employment training program for low income seniors, In this program, we annually trained 225 seniors and then succeeded in finding permanent jobs for 20% annually. Foster grandparent recruitment of 100 volunteers to help low income children have a more stable environment in the community. These programs included over 800 volunteers and 250 employees. The volunteers banked over 30,000 volunteer hours annually. The federal grants totaled $1.2 million budget annually. Public speakers bureau for Catholic Charities. Established new community program to meet the needs of low income, home-bound seniors(Faithful Friends). This was the result of a community risk assessment that evaluated 500 community residents to look for key areas which would inhibit them from remaining to the community. My job was to keep seniors living as independently as possible, in whatever setting that may be. Implemented the first employee survey for 14 Cardinal Ritter communities for over 400 employees. The results of this survey led to company wide changes and a Strategic Analysis Plan.
