What was I hired to do: I was brought in to develop and implement a Corporate wide HIPAA/Corporate Compliance program quickly, Other corporate wide programs include a revamping of the tools used to do Long Term Care audits on our owned and managed communities, Selection and development of the implementation of an Electronic Medical Record at 6 communities simultaneously. Perform risk assessments at the 24 communities and analyze the risks to look for areas to improve. Provide direction and supervision of community staff in areas pertaining to the projects. Prepare and provide reports and information to Board of Directors and top leadership. Develop and monitor policies and procedures. Provide expertise on the Corporate Leadership Team. Leads Quality Improvement Teams. Initiates Benchmarking and Best Practices in key areas of the organization. Excellent people skills and ability to manage multiple projects/priorities in a highly results oriented environment.
