Actual job description from HR, December 2012: “Identify, characterize, and provide solutions for liabilities encountered in the development of the RapidHit 200 Human Identification and the Apollo 100XL Sequencing Platform. Optimize equipment, materials, and methods for characterizing and optimizing, and testing systems and subsystems. Enable transfer of both hardware and software from engineering to Science, and assist engineering with in house fabrication when necessary. Support Operations in manufacturing and testing of the Instruments, chips, and reagents for the Apollo 100 and XL. Support Marketing and Commercial by providing Training, technical support, Photography, and Video.”
