Daily Duties at Wyle Information Systems:

Information Systems Security Manager and COMSEC Officer for the 77th Aeronautical Engineering Systems Wing. Responsible for overseeing the review/approval of all COTS/GOTS software prior to installation, Certification/Accreditation of applications, firewall updates, telewall requirements, updating the EITDR database, and writing/reviewing and approving SSAAs/OIs. Primary POC for all SPAM related issues, along with ensuring over 1,000 personnel are training and certified on Information Assurance. Control all Communications Equipment (STUs, STEs, TACLANEs, BITLs) for secure communications throughout the wing, to include responsibilities assigned as the ISSO/COMSEC officer for a SCIF located within the wing. Ensures all users complete annual Information Protection training. Works hand-in-hand with Base Communications Group on all network/computer Related incidents, to include SPAM, Viruses, along with Firewall/Smart filter Exceptions.
