Daily Duties at Ftsi:
VICE PRESIDENT LOGISTICS - INTERNATIONAL P&L responsibility for $35M per month: • Achieved a total reduction in annual expenses of $36M • Eliminated the need for overtime by modifying schedules, promoting more efficient facilities management, and throttling production • Established dedicated rail loops and managed truck delivery times resulting in a 50% decrease in demurrage • Decreased fuel expenses by 33% as a result of installing auxiliary power units on all trucks Managed international transportation of equipment, chemicals, and parts: • Worked with third party logistics providers to arrange shipments to international locations including Brazil, Argentina, Saudi Arabia, Oman, China, and Poland • Researched alternative shipping lanes reducing cost by $0.5M per shipment Improved audit performance across the business unit: • Directed operational reviews at all sites to identify and correct deficiencies • Installed fall protection systems at all facilities • Led the effort on decreasing silica exposures at well sites by instituting a respiratory protection plan
