Daily Duties at Wood Group Psn:
Daily management of the Accounts Payable Team consisting of 12 clerks. Heavily involved in integration of multiple divisions into Oracle including international divisions. Ensuring all areas of the balance sheet (where responsibility is delegated) are fully reconciled at all times and any issues are identified and actioned in a timely manner. Reconciliations, journal entries, GL, re-classes and accruals. Process manual check requests and main check runs for nine separate banking accounts spanning five divisions. Main vendor contact, perform vendor maintenance and new vendor setup for five divisions. Ensuring all supplier invoices are processed accurately & in a timely manner. Provide training in expense and AP approval systems for all users. Streamlining and alignment of processes & procedures. Involvement in the recruitment, motivation, and objective setting for all persons within the team as well as planning & assisting in staff development and training programs. Reporting, monitoring and management of KPI’s for Accounts Payable. Liaising where necessary in internal, external and client audits and ensuring ongoing communications with all internal and external clients is positive and consistent.
