Reported directly to CFO (and indirectly to CEO) in newly created position responsible for all aspects of investment community relations Maintained complete, up-to-date knowledge of ARAMARK operations, business strategies and finances; communicated appropriate information to diverse investors and media in real time Sought out, cultivated and maintained personal contacts with buy-side and sell-side analysts, promoting RMK stock as a good investment Responsible for keeping management up-to-date on market news, trends and rumors potentially affecting RMK With general counsel, ensured compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley and all other securities laws in the challenging post-Enron environment Coordinated with corporate communications group in timely but legally compliant publication of company financial news including major M&A developments Drafted text and visuals for quarterly earnings reports and scripts for CEO's and CFO's analyst conference calls; engaged with them in the process of formulating investor "guidance" With limited staff, produced annual investors' meetings and other events to strengthen company's relationships with investors Coordinated preparation of annual reports, both "glossy" and pro forma, and teamed with finance, treasury and legal departments to draft all language filed on EDGAR or released to public
