Daily Duties at El Centro Family Health:
Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) • Assist the Board of Directors in hiring, evaluation & termination; & carries out workforce policies approved by the Board. • Establish & implement HR efforts that effectively communicate & support the organization’s vision & strategic vision. • Develop HR plans & strategies to support the achievement of the overall business objectives. • Develop comprehensive strategic recruiting & retention plans to meet the workforce strategic goals. • Develop & implement comprehensive compensation & benefit plans that are competitive & cost effective for the organization. • Respond to grievances & facilitates resolution by acting as liaison between parties, facilitating communication & providing guidance regarding laws, regulations, policies & procedures. • Maintain compliance with compensation policies & regulations by conducting annual compensation surveys & updating the compensation policy, setting pay for individual employees in accordance with the ECFH compensation policy & advising management regarding compensation laws & regulations. • Assist in the development excellent leaders & staff by participating & facilitating the development of guidelines & criteria for recruitment & retention of highly-qualified staff; by providing for supervisory development; & by ensuring the provision of adequate training in ECFH Personnel & Policies & Procedures & adherence to same. • Ensure compliance with state, federal & local laws & regulations by conducting research, developing &/or updating personnel policies & procedures, & advising management regarding the requirements of such laws & regulations. Chief Information Officer (CIO) • Manage the operations and support teams for network systems operations for 28 Medical & Dental Clinics throughout seven counties in Northern NM, as well as the Administration and Resource Center sites. • Responsible for leading the entire IT systems development life cycle. • Supervise the redesign of the Network System to include the Phone and Data Systems, to include IP Network Links that reduced overhead costs. • Responsible for managing the construct & implementation of a new electronic program called e-Clinical Works for 28 Medical & Dental Clinics & Admin. & Resource Center sites located in seven counties throughout New Mexico. • Other duties as assigned. Quality, Safety & Assurance Director (12/2011 to 10/2012) Direct the Quality, Safety & Security Department in support of El Centro Family Health Mission, Vision, Goals and Objectives; is responsible for ensuring the quality, safety and security of the workplace by analyzing, designing, developing, Implementing and evaluating the quality, safety and security programs; and coordinates, administers and implements comprehensive training programs in quality assurance, occupational, industrial and environmental safety and (IT) security.
