Daily Duties at Department Of Energy:

•Prepare and submit on time HSPD-12 reports to Headquarters. •Input data into USAccess System for new personnel •Input data into USAccess System for existing personnel that have under gone a name change •Coordinate and prepare the official request for replacement badges •Coordinate and prepare the official request for a badge suspension/termination •Coordinate and prepare the official request for a badge upgrade/downgrade •Track and report on status of Credentials that are mailed offsite •Certify PIV completion on the AL F 470.1 for clearance request •Verify contract information with OBS and COTRs prior to badging, extensions, terminations, new, and changes •PSD – Verify grants i.e., upgrades/downgrades /grants adjudication request and follow up with PSD ensuring clearance data has been released to OPM •Manage card re-key process and light activation •Ensure badge office maintains an adequate inventory of supplies necessary for daily operations •Coordinate the repair and maintenance of all equipment •Physically create badges are required •Coordinate with FSO access for unofficial uncleared visitors or visitors with firearms •Coordinate with HQ access for cleared foreign national visitors •Coordinate with HQ access for cleared visitors from other government agencies •Interact on a daily basis with Trinity Protective Services, Inc. (TPSI) personnel •Coordinate with TPSI on-site program manager, training manger, and federal COR •When issues or concerns are observed regarding the performance of the TPSI, immediately notify the COR, SOD Director, and CSD Manager via email •Work closely with the IT personnel regarding software upgrades •Coordinate requests for ordering new printers, faxes, and copiers •Modify the existing badge signs •Modify customer sign-in roster •Work closely with the CSD moves and space manager on the proposed reconfigurations efforts •Work closely with IT on the proposed office automation and office layout reconfiguration efforts •When issues or concerns are observed regarding the performance of the TPSI, immediately notify the COR, SOD Director, and CSD Manager via email •Develop and implement a process for discrepancy reporting based on previous six sigma event with HR, PSD, and CSD •Provide support as required
