• Provided consulting services to hospitals, doctors, and laboratories with a unique mix of biological, electrical, and computer expertise. • Delivered key management and technical support to diagnostic laboratories, representing 87 accounts with a total population of more than 150 instruments. • Created and implemented the territory sales plan and budget. • Initiated new sales and maintained customer relations. • Educated clients regarding medical diagnostic equipment through both personal support and classroom instruction. • Implemented validation protocols for new instrumentation according to internal, FDA and CLIA guidelines. Daily activities Respond to technical issues that the customer was having with diagnostic equipment and reagents that Abbott Laboratories produced. Installed new diagnostic equipment in Dr offices, hospitals and reference clinics Sold consumables for diagnostic equipment Performed lab assessments to streamline diagnostic test work flows. Sold customers upgraded diagnostic equipment.
