Daily Duties at Abbott Laboratories:

Managed Biological Quality Assurance (BQA), Chemical Quality Assurance (CQA), Sterilization Quality Assurance (SQA) Laboratory Services responsible for LAL, bioburden, environmental monitoring, microbial identifications, GC, IR, HPLC and many other types of testing. • Developed and implemented protocols for improving production and sterilization processes, including micro challenge studies, product safety efficiency, clean room production procedures and laboratory test methods. • Produced new, enhanced laboratory compliance procedures to meet FDA, ISO and cGMP guidelines. • Created and managed new validation processes and teams to execute validations more efficiently and effectively per latest procedures and protocols. • Instigated cost reduction and capital equipment modernization initiatives. • Improved laboratory quality standards by identifying and implementing HVAC upgrades, clean room changes and instrument qualifications. • Facilitated improved strategic communication between Division and Plant management to provide new direction to laboratory services disciplines. • Enhanced employee performance through improved communication, motivation and goal setting.
