Daily Duties at Life Technologies:

• Multi site responsibility: Two Austin TX locations, Pleasanton CA, Jarrel TX, Bowling Green KY, Madison WI, Durham NC, Lyon France. • Management representative for FDA audits. • Managed technology transfer for newly developed products through the product commercialization process. • Manage the new product integration (NPI) processes for new products • Quality Lead for purchase and integration of acquired companies as well as transfer/consolidations of key manufacturing facilities. • Successfully upgraded Austin and Pleasanton sites from research use only (RUO) site to ISO13485 in six months. • Directed implementation of new quality and regulatory requirements. • Fully integrated quality into manufacturing through the high performance work teams. • Leader for implementation of USDA Austin site registration for Animal Health and Food Safety product lines. • Responsible for USDA, BSI and customer audits. Responsible for identifying trends and responding to critical customer issues. communicate directly with customers about customer concerns Lead all audits at sites I was responsible for, this included, customer and all regulatory audits. Review and approve all new products and design changes. Create a plan to updgrade research use only sites to general purpose reagent(GPR) class I, II or III sites. Create plan and become core team member for Site intergrations and product transfers. Lead quality efforts for Multiple product transfers, three site closures, and five company purchases. Perform management reviews at site level as well as global. Presented directly to the CEO on critical quality issues. Created a plan to address gaps in customer requirements. Legacy products were not meeting customer specifications. Responsible for identifying customer gaps, working with marketing, R&D and Development to redevelop critical products to meet upgraded customer and regulatory requierments.
