Managed a research project characterizing flavor chemical/chewing gum base interactions utilizing Hansen Solubility Parameters to decrease costs associated with the “trial and error” flavor formulation method, collaborating with a multi-disciplinary technical team Managed a research project characterizing food base components with Linear Solvation Energy Relationships utilizing Inverse Gas Chromatography to increase FONA’s understanding of food base and flavor chemical interactions, especially regarding encapsulation technology Explored PVAc encapsulation alternatives with HME to control flavor release in chewing gum Performed research with FBC to achieve controlled flavor release in chewing gum Conducted group training sessions and presented two technical presentations on research work
