Daily Duties at Hellenic Vehicle Industry S.A.:

Controls the general-ledger and cost-centre entries of the assistant accounting personnel. Leads and manages company’s financial and cost functions, including the posting of integration transactions to the general ledger of manufacturing’s financial expenditures. Imports analytical cost accounting ledger accounts from general ledger to facilitate the production of the profit & loss balance sheet statements. Updates warehouse transactions by individual item, enabling the monitoring of materials’ alignment with the Bill of Materials (BOM). Develops & maintains certain KPIs. Under engineer-to-order & continuous-flow manufacturing procedures, develops three-monthly calculations of the actual values of inventory, production in progress, Cost of Goods Produced (CGP) and Cost of Manufactured Goods Sold (CMGS). Participates to the annual budget structure by giving accurate standard costing estimations for future project based productions. Meets Greek Tax Authority requirements by providing formal general ledger, analytical accounting ledger balances as well as formal warehouse accounting balances. Prepares all financial statements under IFRS & Greek GAAP including P&L and balance sheet on a three months basis. Produces the quarterly financial statements required by the Bank of Greece and the Greek National Statistics Authority. Travels to the Greek Ministry of Economics for almost all financial reporting issues. Provides all appropriate information to external auditors
