Daily Duties at Ascom Timeplex:
At Ascom Timeplex, one of two C language developers adding DECnet routing protocol to embedded processor of Router/Bridge; Specifically responsible for DECnet routing functions, header packet parsing, data packet forwarding and X.25 routing layer functions; Heavy emphasis on speed and robustness; Prior to DECnet, added features to high speed network WAN serial driver code, specifically added European standard G.703 interface driver to serial interface; Added HDLC unnumbered information frames to existing LAPB code and made improvements to existing PPP code;
