Was a law clerk on two separate occasions - once during the summer between my 2L and 3L year in law school, and again after graduation leading up to the bar exam - Drafted dozens of legal documents , including management agreements, articles of incorporation and bylaws, dissociation agreements, CC&R’s, terms and conditions for use of equipment, complex complaints, reply briefs, appellate briefs, discovery requests, trust and estate documents, and research memoranda. - Gained experience in a wide variety of practice areas, including business start-ups; taxation; non-profit ventures; intellectual property; securities regulation; private and commercial real estate disputes; construction; workplace insurance; personal injury; wrongful death; negligence; maritime; municipalities; family law; and contracts. - Appeared in court frequently under WA Rule 9 to enter and argue ex-parte motions and pleadings. - Participated in multiple non-judicial proceedings, including depositions, client board meetings, and negotiations.
