Daily Duties at 3 M Via E Source Corporation:
I worked through E Source as a government contractor to 3M on a rollout project to implement the Department of Defense's new Electronic Medical Record, or EMR, to all Miltary Healthcare Facilities around the globe. This included Instructor Led Training (ILT), or classroom training as well as Over The Shoulder (OTS) training to all military healthcare workers. I was sent all over the US mainland as well as overseas and taught classes to Army, Navy and Air Force personnel. This was a go-live experience. I was often the Lead Trainer or Supervising Consultant at many sites due to my medical training. This consultant position required 100% travel and I was used at some sites as a Lead Implementation Specialist. I supported multi-facility hospitals across the United States, as well as Europe and Asia. I was tasked with tracking progress and reporting status details internally with 3M, documenting business processes within the clincal environment and within the scope of the implementation effort. I was tasked with the conduct and control procedures with the customer and the reponsibility to communicate and train the end users.
