Daily Duties at Ibm Via Cgs:

I am a government contractor reponsible for the miltary's Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems at Naval Health Clinic Hawaii (NHCH). In this role I oversee clinics at five different geographic location on the island of Oahu, Hawaii with regards to the effective use of the patient electronic healthcare record (EHR). I am tasked with teaching software systems like AHLTA, CHCS, Dragon NS, AsUType, Essentris, HAIMS, MDET to the nearly 700 healthcare workers seving over 70,000 active duty sailors and marines and their dependent families. I am the command's project lead for training and implementation of all medical record processes and procedures and serve as the defacto Director for Clinical Informatics. My focus on this contract increased to include not just one type of software system (AHLTA). I now was assigned the task of implementing and training the command's healthcare providers on several different DoD and Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) products such as Dragon NS and AsUtype. .
