Daily Duties at Balfour Beatty Construction:

•Responsible for ordering and managing network installations with Verizon Business, Cox Communications, and other ISPs for new sites both secure on non-secure Administered all components of Lotus Notes client/server including replication, mail routing, and database management -- over 1000 databases, 250+ users, 26 servers in a tense, high-profile, bidding environment Designed, purchased, configured, rolled out, and maintained all LAN components (Cisco routers, switches, mail servers, fax servers, and file and print servers) for main office and area job sites; coordinate WAN and PIP installation and maintenance. Responsible for data integrity to include scheduling backups with Veritas Backup exec and restoring data, configuring and updating McAfee Anti-Virus Corporate Edition; responding to and mitigating viruses and network security incidents. Responsible for maintaining AutoStore System that scans, OCRs, and stores each document that is sent or delivered to each jobsite -- on an average jobsite, this includes tens of thousands of documents.
