Daily Duties at J.P. Morgan Chase:

•Originate residential real estate loans; through managing the processing staff and coordinating with the underwriting team I am able to ensure timely closings, in turn keeping the costs of doing business down. •Initiate weekly meetings with each lending department (processing, underwriting, closing & funding) to go over all loans that myself and my bankers have in the pipeline. Through these calls we are able to proactively address any possible issues and collectively have it resolved. •Analyze applicants’ financial status, credit and property evaluation to determine feasibility of granting loans as well as strictly adhering to regulatory compliance. •Through individual coaching, making joint phone calls, role playing and daily update meetings my bankers and other sales staff are kept abreast of all market and policy changes as well as trained on creating warm leads. •Coordinate the loan documentation process from inception to completion: take the loan application; review credit history; review tax and income documents; coordinate with the processing and underwriting teams the terms of the approval; satisfy all lending conditions and coordinate a closing with all parties involved. •Ensure in a timely fashion, prior to funding conditions are met to help guarantee a positive customer experience. •Establish strong outside relationships with realtors, attorneys, financial planners and former clients to continue to build on my referral network base.

What they like about J.P. Morgan Chase:

The social vibrance of a hiring firm is very important to you. Your ability to make and maintain friendships there is a critical part of your decision. You would likely be dissatisfied with a workplace that is quiet, cold, or otherwise not particularly social. When you investigate a new hiring company, ask recruiters, managers, and potential co-workers about the social life and opportunities there. This is especially important when you are relocating; moving dramatically alters your social sphere both inside and outside the workplace.
