Daily Duties at Msl Group:

Evaluated and presented financial results in terms of profitability, efficiency and performance against budget to senior management. Developed, analyzed and interpreted semi-weekly and monthly key performance metrics, dashboards and financial data. Provided in-depth analysis to develop and prepare the annual budget, quarterly forecasts and internal financial reports. Pro-actively identified key financial issues, risks, opportunities and solutions throughout all areas of finance and the company. Managed all functional areas of accounting, including monthly productivity and billability analysis, working capital management, work in progress (WIP), payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, client invoicing and client code creation. Completed an accurate and timely month-end close; investigated and explained unusual variances. Facilitated client contracts to ensure compliance, proper financial stewardship, credit reference checks, legal review and favorable working capital terms of client accounts. Audited and reviewed all expense reports with general ledger coding; reconciled general ledger accounts Ensured compliance with all internal and external financial management controls. Maintained agency publication subscriptions; included monitoring of payment, and renewal dates; oriented new hires in financial systems. Partnered with senior management in providing leadership within the hub. Assisted account teams with expense reporting, time entry, billing rates and codes, WIP, invoicing and new client setup. Facilitated and reviewed new hire paperwork; maintained personnel files. Coordinated new hire orientations; ordered business cards, set up meetings with staff members. Advised new hires in general office operations; phone and computer setup.
