Managed all accounting and banking activities for firm. Continuously evaluated procedures and processes to develop more streamlined operations. Managed the office and performed HR duties in the absence of Office Manager; Managed Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and Billing. Trained staff on correctly recording transactions according to GAAP; Oversaw bank account reconciliations. Researched and resolved and discrepancies/ variances; Annual reporting to Department of Commerce on revenues from foreign/domestic enterprises; Prepared annual Budget for entire firm, reviewed budget vs. actuals with partners, and discussed any variances throughout the year at partnership meetings; Reviewed general ledger on a monthly basis. Researched and resolved any discrepancies/ variances. Prepared adjusting entries where appropriate; Researched and implemented Section 125 Plan for firm; Ongoing ad-hoc reporting for management including profitability of practice areas, cost/benefit analysis of lease agreements, and the financial impact of transition of consultants to employees; Researched and implemented the use of software that gathered telephone and copier usage data for personal use and use pertaining to client accounts.
