Northeast Division’s daily accounting functions including general ledger activity, accounts receivable, oversight of accounts payable, cash management and preparing the monthly accruals and reporting; Compiled necessary data for and the preparation of client billings; Prepared monthly reporting for Public Service Commission and refined the efficiency of procedures with each monthly close; Prepared monthly accruals for projects and submitted to Division Headquarters. Managed cash received from clients and disbursements to subcontractors; Ad-hoc reporting of client billings and vendor goal achievement metrics; Proposed new and/or improved accounting and control procedures by implementing policy and procedural changes and monitoring compliance.
