Responsibilities at The Northern California Family Center for Foster Program Administrator for Runaway teenagers in Contra Costa County The social worker develops a foster program for runaway teenagers in a northern California County from the ground up. The social worker recruits, hires and trains potential foster parents. The social worker gathers documents and keeps files current according to state guidelines. The social worker provides temporary placement while family in crisis, resolves crisis situation and reunites teen back with family. The social worker makes social work care plans, provides crisis intervention, individual and family therapy. The social worker participates in staff meetings assists with budget.
