Daily Duties at Fluor Corporation:

Hired as a project management support lead, I was responsible for delivering effective, timely and quality project support across all projects and business areas. The role encompassed the production and maintenance of project plans and documentation, attendance at weekly project checkpoints, budgetary and progress reporting, administration in project matters such as risks, issues and change support, library maintenance, and document control. I defined project scope, goals, and deliverables that supported project objectives in collaboration with senior management and functional leads. I processed and tracked bonuses, developed succession plan strategies and spreadsheets, reviewed CITs and expense reports, tracked all department training, monitored all employee transitions, monitored and approved labor reports, attended job fairs for recruiting purposes, reviewed dedicated asset reports, and managed overhead budgets. I coordinated and facilitated quarterly town hall meetings for the vice president regarding our project’s quarterly status review. I managed and coordinated a strategic program to better staff operational and material managers in Afghanistan, focusing on the operations and strategies for former military personnel in a deployed environment. I planned, coordinated and executed all aspects of vetting and hiring of the Former Military Program requisition process, from resume screening to interviews of candidates for open and potential future positions. I supervised the logistics coordination of all incoming candidates to include transportation, training, and deployment. I assisted with the development and implementation of organizational policies, practices, procedures, and attention of operating goals. I reviewed, analyzed and prepared reports, records and directives while conferring with managers and supervisors to obtain the relevant data required. I planned executed and finalized project goals according to strict deadlines within budget. I applied methodology and enforced project standards in accordance with corporate policies, contractual requirements and state and federal law. I managed changes in project scope, identified potential crisis, and devised contingency plans. I identified and managed project dependencies and critical path as well as succession planning.
