Daily Duties at Northern Virginia Community College:

• Experience teaching the following courses: Introduction to Psychology I and II • Plan, develop, and deliver a variety of activities, lectures and assessment tools that teach the key terms, principles, theories, and ideas of basic psychology • Provide a learning environment that students with different learning modalities may attain success • Maintain program and course outcomes at a level to ensure appropriate workplace skill levels for students graduating • Participate in instructional assessment • Regularly attend and participate in faculty meetings and continuous improvement sessions • Maintain open and timely communication with students via e-mail and/or telephone
