Daily Duties at Sanford Brown College:

• Experience teaching the following courses: Introduction to Psychology, Abnormal Psychology, I/O Psychology, Forensic Psychology, Abnormal Psychology, College Success and Career Portfolio • Plan, develop, and deliver a variety of activities, lectures and assessment tools that teach the key terms, principles, theories, and ideas of basic psychology • Provide a learning environment that students with different learning modalities may attain success • Maintain program and course outcomes at a level to ensure appropriate workplace skill levels for students graduating • Report concerns regarding student academic progress to deans and Vice President of Education • Actively assist the college with retention efforts by calling and e-mailing students that are not engaged in the courses • Participate in instructional assessment • Regularly attend and participate in faculty meetings and continuous improvement sessions • Maintain open and timely communication with students via e-mail and/or telephone. • Provide students with appropriate guidance regarding academic excellence and attendance. • Maintain and submit accurate and timely reports for students grades • Complete other duties as assigned by the Dean of Education and Vice President of Education • When needed, assist as the Student Success Center Coordinator by identifying “at risk” students and providing them with tutoring
