Daily Duties at Oregon Secretary Of State Audits Division:

In-charge for small financial, financial related and legal compliance audits of state government agencies, including in-charge at one of the state agency components of the annual statewide financial opinion audit. For the statewide audit, this meant completion of detail and internal control audits of selected financial accounts at assigned state agencies. For other audits, included end-to-end audit project management responsiblities including client relations, scope and objective development, internal control assessment, audit program planning and fieldwork execution, and issue vetting and draft audit report creation. Most of the regulare audit projects were ether as the sole assigned auditor or managing a staff of one to two. Also assisted in teaching courses to newer state auditors.
