Daily Duties at U.S. Information Agency:
Followed U.S. Foreign Policy, Congressional, and Agency objectives to design, implement and manage 14 exchange programs with the New Independent States and East and Central Europe. Responsible for strategic planning, budget allocation, grant contracting, grant monitoring, and evaluation. Hired, trained, supervised, assigned work to, monitored and evaluated performance of academic exchange specialists. Coordinated grants work, including drafting and publishing RFPs, analyzing proposals presenting oral and written reports, verifying contract documents, monitoring project implementation and administration, and evaluating impact of programs. Maintain significant contact with U.S. non-profit, private and public sectors, and general public regarding Agency programs and other USG initiatives.
