Daily Duties at Federal Consulting Group:
Consults with the senior leaders and executives of cabinet departments and other Federal agencies to develop strategies for transforming their organizations using a systematic framework for performance excellence. Consultation areas include: customer focus, strategic planning, business process improvement and reengineering, performance measurement and evaluation, change management, quality management, effective meeting administration, values technology, knowledge management, cultural change, and related topics. Serves as a coach to senior leaders to provide guidance for the leadership issues and problems they face. Facilitates senior leadership teams in developing solutions to the problems they face in transforming their organizations. Conducts learning and research into the best practices in the public and private sectors and determines how to share those ideas with the senior Leadership of Federal agencies. As part of engagements, often provide teaching/training in mini-tutorials with learning objectives, class interaction, and application of knowledge gained. Contracts and supervises teams of sub-contractor consultants for specialized projects. Frequent invited speaker on topics including Evaluation, Performance Measurement, Strategic Planning and Benchmarking.
