Daily Duties at Ibm Corporation:
Acted as Service Delivery Manager for IBM in support of the Fireman’s Fund Insurance Corporation and Wellpoint healthcare companies. • Coordinated all the new client requests between delivery center operations and the recovery center that accounted for over $4M of revenue. • Assisted in the coordination of the mainframe storage hardware refresh project. • Along with the delivery center operations personnel and the recovery center personnel, coordinated any change activity, handled any problems and Root Cause Analysis reporting. • Assisted with identifying and handling any decommissioning of any mainframe and midrange equipment that is no longer being used. This saved in cost for floor space, power, asset maintenance, etc. • Created Tivoli Storage Management daily backup reporting to cover multiple AIX, Intel and VMWare servers. Built processes for accurate reporting in order to achieve Service Level Agreements. • Coordinated the technical Disaster Recovery proposal for an email pod project. Managed the implementation of the domino back up reporting via Tivoli Data Protection under TSM for domino data backups across all the email servers. • Planned and executed successful disaster recovery tests comprising of multiple platforms, AS/400, Mainframe, Intel, Unix, Linux, HP and print facilities.
