Daily Duties at Qbe Insurance Company:

I was promoted to this position to establish policies and processes for Data Governance and Business Intelligence usage across the US corporation. I was accountable to establish a corporate data dictionary, represent the personal lines business unit in establishing the calculations and definitions and supporting the 20 individual data governance analysts across the 4 main corporate locations. Responsible to establish the processes and policies for naming, defining and updating key business terms. I was charged with facilitating the meetings of the 30+ people involved in the process to gather and capture all key performance indicators and data elements required to support the business. The 3 main Data Quality Managers were responsible for maintaining the application that captured the terms and definitions. Served as a business subject matter expert on all data related projects to provide requirements from the personal lines business unit. Reviewed all projects to make sure they met the Data Governance standards.
