Daily Duties at Ibm, Corp:
Manage a team of four employees and collaborate with suppliers and other departments to optimize supply chain efficiency. - Manage inventory levels through site rebalancing recommendations and support the Site Procurement Teams with order fulfillment. - Monitor suppliers and ensure strong supplier performance, and collaborate with Global Commodity Managers to ensure that suppliers comply with contract agreements. - Facilitate buy-ahead discussions and recommendations for non-hubbed parts. - Collaborate with the Global Commodity Management Team and New Products Team on new product launches. - Partner with the Demand Planning team to improve forecast accuracy by identifying market trends, reviewing industry supply health, and tracking historical consumption. - Coordinate with all integrated supply chain/brand organizations to ensure crisp communications on supply related matters. - Regularly coordinate with executive management.
