Daily Duties at Sempra Energy Utilities:
Management Test Coordination • Supervised Management Test Program for both Southern California Gas Company and San Diego Gas & Electric. • Scored assessments, generated / analyzed reports, managed database, and confirmed valid test candidates. • Provided coaching, supervised test proctors, renewed vendor contracts, created test and orientation schedules, and supplied proctors with test materials. • Led initiative to convert mandatory Test Preparation Course to an online platform, improving efficiency in tracking attendance, reducing staffing costs, and increasing employee participation. Survey Design / Analysis • Telework Survey – Assessed organizational readiness for a formal telework program; survey was developed to measure leadership’s perceptions toward telework, its impact on innovation, and employee engagement. • MyInfo Call Center Survey – Created survey, hired / trained temps to administer survey, and developed a database to organize and analyze results; assessed the level of employee satisfaction with the call center, providing feedback for performance improvement. • Safety Survey – Oversaw one-year study, created survey, analyzed results, and studied relevance of providing training on stretching techniques to reduce injuries on the job; significantly reduced medical and workers comp claims. Operational Excellence 20 / 20 Organizational Change Initiative • As part of the change initiative, coordinated with external consultants to facilitate focus groups with both management and represented employees across different bases
