As a Pharmacist I, my duties include: preparing, manufacturing, and dispensing drugs and pharmaceutical preparations; fill prescriptions; review patients' charts and medication regimens; participate in treatment team meetings; provide ongoing consultation to the treatment teams and to the Medical Review Committee; implement and/or maintains unit dose system; as required, supervises and instructs assistants in routine phases of the work; keep records of drugs and narcotics as required by Federal and State laws; assist in the preparation of estimates and requisitions for the drugs, sundries and chemicals required, and keep records of those received, on hand and dispensed; provide or assist with in-service training; supervise, instruct, and is responsible for nonprofessional assistants doing the routine, maintenance, and technical aspects of pharmaceutical work.
