Daily Duties at Hitachi Data Systems:
Required to have extensive storage background including but not limited to HTnM/HDvM, HDP, HNAS and host based data migration experience. Manage large hardware installations and data migrations. Required to have legacy knowledge of Brocade switching platforms to coordinate the consolidation of AMS/ITO network segment into a standard management network for deployment DCFM implementation in a VMware enviromment – sites included Dallas, Pittsburgh, Tarrytown and Blythwood. Products were off lease 12K’s, 24K’s and 48k switches to DMX switches. Managed internal team of 10 site engineers. Coordinate OSDM from XP24K to HDS VSP utilizing Hitachi technical consultants - expected completion was 6 months...migrations were completed in 5 months saving customer $75K in off lease revenue.
