Daily Duties at Coronado Nursing Center:

General long-term care floor nurse and charge nurse duties to include: Provide direct patient care including assessments, medications, ostomy care, various treatments, assist with ADLs, and ensure all resident needs are met. Typical load per floor nurse was 40 residents. Monitor and report patient status changes to physicians, document and initiate physician orders. In charge of nurse aide assignments, assure assigned tasks are completed, and monitor nurse aide activities to ensure quality resident care.
