Daily Duties at Health South:
*Marketed services of a 50 bed physical rehabilitation hospital, part of a national network of 93 hospitals nationwide, specializing in stroke and other neurological diagnosis, orthopedics and amputee after care. *Built relationships with Centre County physician offices by way of cold calls and lunch and learns. *Provided educational programs to the community through the Centre County Office of Aging Senior Center network on stroke and heart attack prevention, fall risk awareness, assistive devices and new technologies available for rehabilitation. *Networked with personal care and home nursing agencies, as well as assisted living and skilled nursing facilities to increase hospital admissions. *Event and exhibit planning and implementation which included hospital wide events.
