Daily Duties at Northrop Grumman:
Act as strategic partner with assigned client-base managers; advise and counsel with all employees regarding policies and procedures and applicable Federal and State legislation by providing effective, sound recommendations. Partner with management to ensure a complete understanding of the changing business needs and objectives and resolve HR issues. Responsible for and serves as a HR liaison for the following areas: talent management, employment, employee relations, compensation, benefits, EEO, and/or training and development. Act as employee and company advocate. Diversity and Inclusion team lead for Engineering organization. • Partnered with management for organization stand-ups / reorganizations • Led East coast stand-up of Insights career centers • Resolved many employee relations issues without legal action being taken • Monitored organizational climate issues based on Employee relations concerns and ensured effective resolution by recommending HR-related activities and closure plans. • Partnered closely with management and employees on improving performance or HR-issue closure • Conduct workplace investigations, recommend corrective action and closure plans.
