Daily Duties at Perdue Farms, Inc.:

Review, reconcile and adjust daily inventories based on customer demand. Create, maintain and disburse various inventory reports. Supervise the shipment and receipt of various products ensuring all product shipment specifications are met in an efficient, timely and safe manner. Use SAP, CFS inventory system and Microsoft Office Word and Excel to perform daily inventories duties. Communicate daily production schedule to production team ensuring proper quantities, kill date, and packaging methods. Direct a team of associates responsible for receiving and shipping of plants’ raw and finished material. Responsible for proper rotation of raw materials and ensure zero product adulteration or disposal. Train associates on inventory handling procedures, USDA, safety and OSHA regulations and various programs within the facility. Manage raw deliveries and finished product shipments to ensure 100% service level to internal and external customers. Manage departmental cost including overtime and production waste. Direct production team on raw material usage through creation of daily handoff report and verbal communication.
