• Developing marketing and branding strategies for this unit in conjunction with local agency • Developed proposal for SAMA (Saudi Central Bank) for product and process approval • Assisting in the web design phase by providing detailed brief to marketing agency • Defined specific go to market strategy: To expand virtual bank model throughout GCC and increase deposits • Establishing targets for account deposits by working with call center sales team • Developed Marketing Proposal and presented to board – detailed use of social media outlets • Responsible for assembling and leading a team in the development of a Virtual Bank unit of the KSA Retail Operations. • Training call center representatives to provide best in class service to Direct Bank customers • Two department heads will be reporting to me: Operations and Sales & Marketing Head • Established process flow for new customer accounts and implementing them within current Operations Department • Developed CRSA’s using the MIFA (Materials and Information Analysis) model • Developed Shariah compliant Savings and Fixed Deposit Account in conjunction with Shariah advisor • Working with Treasury team to develop aggressive rates which will be in line with Direct Bank model of low operation costs and higher returns to customer • Apply for Consumer Finance License utilizing Emirates NBD Legal Counsel and hiring external legal counsel familiar with KSA legal system and who has good contacts within SAMA and local Ministries • Once Consumer Finance license has been received, will look to establish separate office and set company up as an LLC • Market Research – Conducting independent research to understand Consumer Market needs by meeting with senior bankers and economists within different organizations who have compiled recent data. Have also arranged and met with former senior individuals from other Consumer and Installment companies to understand the set up of their companies
